If we are going to change marijuana laws in this country, we need to help change people's perceptions of the substance. Too many Americans, especially older Americans, believe marijuana is a "dangerous drug" used by "stoners." But the truth is that marijuana is a popular recreational substance used by people from all walks of life. It is no different than alcohol -- except that it is less harmful. The e-card we have produced is designed to convey this message to mothers across the country. And it does so in a very personal way, by explaining that you support the use of marijuana and believe it is consistent with valuable lessons your mother taught you growing up.

The tide is turning in this country. Marijuana use is becoming more and more acceptable.
